Water play design and installation for a luxury family resort in the Caribbean
When a resort under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand invests in a children’s water area, it expects something worthy of the brand: safe, attractive and built to last. That’s exactly what ACL Projects designed and installed at Zemi Miches, in Miches, Dominican Republic — a children’s water park built to keep families on the property longer and give kids a space of their own.
The challenge: integrate water play without breaking the hotel’s design
The client wanted to elevate the family experience with a water entertainment offer that matched the resort’s aesthetic — not a generic installation. The project requirements were clear:
- Specialised water play equipment for one of the resort’s children’s pools
- Complete equipment for the Kids Club, indoor and outdoor
- A solution consistent with the hotel’s architecture

The water play was designed for a wide age range — from toddlers aged 1 to children of 5-6 — with a shallow pool depth for maximum safety. Multiple play elements work as different stations within the same pool, keeping children active for hours.
