At the Margaritaville hotel in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, ACL Projects delivered a custom water park with one feature that shaped the entire project: the hotel’s architecture and, above all, its colour palette.
The challenge: integrate the water park into the hotel’s aesthetic
Margaritaville Cap Cana has a strongly defined visual identity: white walls and blue roofs. That distinctive blue became the starting point for the design. The challenge wasn’t just to install safe, fun water play — it was to make the whole thing blend naturally with the existing architecture.
Our solution: pastel and blue tones inspired by the hotel itself
The blue of the roofs inspired us to choose pastel and blue tones for the children’s water park. The result keeps a tropical, playful feel while staying perfectly aligned with the resort’s aesthetic.
